Congrats to BFC members Larry Oden and Buckcustom!

I would just like to congratulate two of our members who won recent awards at the Blade Show.

Both John Foresman (Buckcustom) and Larry Oden won Display Awards (actually all 4 awards went to Buck exhibits).

John won his in Custom Buck knives and Larry won the judges award for his Buck Factory Production 1961-80.

I think we're really fortunate to have 2 very knowledgable Buck collectors here who are often willing to share all that they know.

John has helped me several times regarding my 532 collection and I really appreciate that.

Again, congrats to Larry and John. I wish I was at the Show to have seen your exhibits.

One of the advantages of being in the Buck Collectors Club.

Also, this is mentioned in the latest issue of Blade in the section covering the Blade Show.

Thanks for your kind comments! The Blade
Show displays are stunning and all of our
members who display really put on a special
show for the attendees. I know Case had
people there who were trying to find out what
made our club so enthusiastic. Short answer:
Nice people with a passion for Buck Knives
and a spirit of comaradarie plus a company
who goes the extra mile for club members.

I would like to say that Larry and John's displays alone would have been worth the trip to Atlanta! I look forward to the Blade show because I learn more from the research that the members do each year on the knives they collect.

Thanks fellas for all the kind words. It's great to be able to share our collections with other knife lovers. Larry, by the way, has the most comprehensive factory collection that I have ever seen.
