I got my copy of Knives 2004 today and saw that my friend Bill B. is presented for the first time with a radial bowie in the damascus section.

Well, I'm not sure what he'll do. Last I heard he was on his way out the door to go lookin for a pair of designer sunglasses and maybe a pair of tight leather pants....... ooops, better get some hair dye, too.

in there, I must have missed yours and I'm sure many others. :( there are a lot of regulars
not there this year

Fitz, I agree on the sunglasses and for sure the hair dye, need to lose some of this grey. But the leather pants won't happen. Would make good forging pants though. :D

Actually, I might have the leather pants here in the closet, from biker-boy days! Might fit you... they've really "shrunk" a lot over the years. ;) Alternatively, i suppose i could belt em somewhere down around my knees...

As for the gray hair... hell, that's just a badge that ya managed to make it long enough to have it. i sure as hell never thought I'd see 50. And now i wonder how long before I can't remember 50, anymore. :D

As for the honor, you deserve it. Happy to see you in there.
