Thank you sir, appreciate it. I was saying in the snark thread that the wife and I kinda sorta wanna move to Vermont, when we can. The cabin would be too far away iffin we did, but if I find a permanent place out in the country of Vermont, it would be like living in a cabin full time to me/us. The wife and I both LOVE the winter time, and love the snow. I can see going into town on a snowmobile for groceries, etc. That would be awesome. I found a place very reasonably priced, with 48 acres. That would be incredible. Hopefully we'll be able to find a good deal when we're ready to go.

Would love to. Be awhile before we get that way though.

Pop wanted us to have that place in VT, but there's no way we could afford it. Taxes alone were $600 per month. No thanks.

Just kidding Dubz, congrats on your very deserving appointment. Couldn't think of a better person to take up the modship of this place. Now just don't leave us high and dry like the other mods seem to do after they get appointed :D. Well, except Bladite. He seems to hang around like a bad rash.

This is a welcome that is way overdue..... Warrior has been a great part of this community and I have always enjoyed his posts...... His photos are amazing....... I am really happy that he is one of our mods and I am damn glad to have him....... after a bunch of years I finally got to talk to him and yes---- he really is as great a guy as you may have suspected........

Thanks Ethan, appreciate it. I was telling Ethan by phone the first time, that before we talked, I was telling the wife that I finally get to meet the friend I've never met. Have "known" Ethan for a few years now, and finally got to talk to him. What a wealth of knowledge that guy has. We covered a lot of different areas when we talked, as often time happens the first time you get to talk to someone. The second time we talked, I was picking his brain about handle contours vs. flat scales, blade design, inspiration for a particular design, etc.. Had a great time. One thing I love talking about, is knives (go figure) and Ethan, as you can imagine, is very knowledgeable in that field. Thanks again sir, look forward to picking your brain more in the near future.

Yesiree. Speaking of which, I need to get back out and use the blades. I have a burn pile in the back yard that needs tending to. Mayhaps I'll use the knives to break it down some. :thumbsup:
