Congratulations, Dan!

the funniest part, in addition to you misspelling Keffeler, is that you didn't even get the spelling right of the guy you were calling out for misspelling!
I admire your sense of humor, man. It's something I like to experience :)

Thank you Lorien, but you misunderstand.....I wasn't correcting the spelling.....was clarifying the pronunciation.

Have been calling him Dan "Kefeller" for about 5 years and he never corrected me until Blade this year.

Dan contacted me about cutting with one of his blades some time ago, and we have had face to face interaction for quite a few years....always enjoyable.

He sent me one of his katana to cut with about a month ago, and we used it at the dojo, three cutters....one a master, me and a novice. It was traditionally mounted in non-traditional materials and cut like a straight razor for everybody.

Want one of his blades to compete with.....am pretty sure I could take on some of the best cutters in the world with it.....and win.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

THIS is funny, but just to add a whole other layer of confusion... I misspelled Keffeler in my original post. I was in a rush...

So now we've got a misspelled name, a miss-pronounced name, an inside joke (between Dan and STeven), and a whole collection of confused forumites.

Yeah... Congrats Dan! It'd take a doctor to sort out this mess... ;):D

We could simplify and just call him "Keff-dog" or perhaps "the Keff-meister." :D

Wow thanks everybody for the kind words. It's been a long hard journey along this professional path that I've taken and I really appreciate all the support that I've gotten from members on this board.
