A decidedly worthy performance by the Superbowl 41 champs! The "dome" team showed the outdoors boys how to play in bad weather.

Indiana brought their "A game" and the Bears brought a "B game" and the "Bad Rex" version of their schizophrenic quarterback.

The stats show that the win was far more decisive than the final score indicates.

I am happy for you Indiana fans! Congratulations!

My Bears played pretty well as predicted. Special teams and defense dominated early, but you can't have the defense on the field for 40 minutes in a 60 minute game without having them get too tired to defend.

Oh well, there's always next year!

Yes, you're correct, Brett. A few too many 3rd downs got converted. Run hurt 'em again; final tally was 191 yds on the ground for the Colts. Heavy rain always favors the short pass completion because you have to play off the receiver a bit.

Sure was an exciting kickoff!!

Heck, even Rexy was 20/28 for 168 yards. Just a couple brainfarts at bad moments. He'll gain poise with experience.

My first post was immediately postgame, and I needed to congratulate the winners. I feel less magnanimous now. :D

We'll root for the Bears every moment of every game next year just like we always have. I may get pissed at "our" teams, but I'm loyal to Chicago teams, win or lose. :)

Fatzo!! I almost called you after the game.:( But I didn't want you to get MAD at me again. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!

All of Indiana is basking in it. Those guys have fought long and hard to get the big win and they are quite deserving of the title. Both teams gave the fans one of the best Super Bowls ever, IMO

Schools here in the Wabash River Valley are on 2 hour delay to allow people a little extra time to nurse their party heads. :D (they say it's because of the extreme cold and buses are hard to start.huh huh huh )

As much as I wanted to see Da Bears win this one, you really have to give the Colts offensive line a  for protecting Manning. Erlacher was unable to hurt him. The Colts defense also came to play ball.
