Hello all and Congratulations to Kyle Royer. A very nice article in the new Blade written by our esteemed Mr. Pinnock, who is a heck of a writer. Kyle congratulations again and a great write up on you and your family, along with some nice eye candy.

Thanks Brion, everyone!

I look forward to seeing it. I might receive my copy today.

And thank you Roger for writing it.

I understand that Kyle also has an article in Knife World this month (by B.R. Hughes). Though I haven't seen it yet.

Some good articles in Blade this month.
In addition to Kyle's/Roger's article and a few others, there's a very good article on the monthly meeting held at "Uncle Al" Lawrence's. Good story and lot's of good photos.

All of the above & ...... Young Kyle should be recognized as a truly dedicated young man with a grest deal of God given talent, ...... secondly, it should also be recognized that no matter how much natural talent you've been given, you are only as good as you practice. Kyle proves by his work that he is consumed with the desire to constantly improve his product and that he'll go to extreme in order to complete a perfect piece.

It is my personal belief that if you were to examine every piece as it is completed, you'd see just a little bit of improvement over the last. His didication to perfection is undeniable and his work is the proof of this. What we are seeing today will be dwarfted by that he does in years to come.

I just picked up my mail and Blade made an early appearance, considering I normally read about Blade articles on the forums a week or so before mine shows up. Look forward to reading about Kyle. There is a lot to be written in the short time Kyle has been on the custom knife scene. Roger always does a great job.
