Congratulations to new Master Smith Aaron Wilburn

I was fortunate enough to meet Aaron Thursday afternoon, and was hoping to see his knives but had to leave Friday morning before doing so.
They looked extremely good in the photos so I'm wasn't surprised to hear he passed.
We've got another VERY talented Mastersmith.

Congrats to you Aaron on a fine set of MS knives always good to see you and see you do so well.

I got to hold that fine dagger. And what a magnificent knife it is. The rest of the set was a pleasure to view and hold as well. Good job hope to see you again soon.

Congrats on the BR Hughes award

I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Aaron and his lovely daughter for the first time.
And this was also the first time for me to enjoy the fruits of Aaron's labors.
Wow. The man knows how to put together a knife!
I see a lot of knives whose individual components seem to have been made well, but the knives' overall composition just really have no balance or design logic.
This was not the case with Aaron.
Each knife, each component, etc. was so well designed and executed it was difficult to pull myself away from his table.
His work is very inspiring, and I was honored to view his MS submission knives.
Congratulations, Aaron.
I do hope to see you, again, next year and also look forward to viewing some knives from your "apprentice".

I've got to say my jaw dropped when I went by Aaron's table. Incredible knives.

Aaron's a great guy and his daughter was very nice, obviously a talented bunch.

He really impressed me.
