It's time to report some (highly positive) feedback to Cold Steel. I love the 2017 lineup and really want to get my hands on a Golden Eye, as soon as possible.

By the way... As Cold Steel's product line improves, have you noticed Lynn is also looking increasingly younger, somehow? Clearly, Lynn has a very healthy, fresh new look to him in recent years. Judging by his appearance, it's almost as though Lynn is just embarking on his career (even though he's been at it for 37 years). I am impressed. Actually, I am highly impressed.

I feel a sense of duty to give highly positive feedback where, when, and to whom it is due. I don't mean to take anything away from the other employees at Cold Steel, but some say majority (but not all) of the credit goes to directly Lynn, the owner.

Sadly, others around here really like to be negative.

Good thing I refrain from being negative about other companies on the forums.

Congratulations to Lynn!

I bought a Voyager once. I opened it, then closed it, then later I opened it again.

Congrats Lynn! You really are looking like a young stallion!

I found an old pic of Lynn Thompson and Crocodile Dundee.

Scarylarry, not to be mean, but you are starting to sound like a shill for Cold Steel. I don't think they really need the extra attention/whatever you are trying to drum up for them. All it will do is start to invalidate your posts and talking points and have members start to think negatively about you and the brand.

Please relax, UnWiseFool.

One theory holds that Lynn really invented the Tri-Ad Lock and then cleverly induced the entire Cold Steel staff to believe that Demko actually did, just to build up Demko's confidence. Hypothetically, that was very kind of Lynn. I can't say it's a completely unreasonable theory. So who knows?

I hate to tell you how innovative Lynn is. If he wanted to, Lynn could have invented the Tri-Ad Lock while standing on his head. (He probably did.) Lynn is actually what you call a "mover and shaker."

Look, no need to argue about it. I suggest we just go with the line we've been fed about Demko inventing the Tri-Ad Lock. Until further notice, anyway. Fortunately, we can always change our opinions as we get new evidence (from our own observations).

Quoting this so you can't change it later

And why would I want to change my comments about a theory? That's how we get to the bottom of things. It's not like I implied that Lynn managed to convince his staff of this through hypnosis. (Having said that, I suggest we not rule it out quite yet either, if you catch my drift.)

I have not been critical about your posts since you started posting it in the general discussions because i like Cold Steel, and i believe you should not judge a company by Lynn's character, or even judge Lynn's character without really knowing him. However, good sir, this is going way overboard.

I'm sure by now you are already aware of the negative attitude of most people in bladeforums towards Cold Steel and Lynn, and you maybe genuinely trying to improve the situation, but man, you are really NOT helping unfortunately...

Sure you can have whatever theory you have, you can even theorized that human evolved from spider, that's why it's called a theory, not a fact. However, by making this kind of argument, you are just gonna further alienating people who likes CS vs people who hates them, not to mention destroying your own credibility.

I get it, you like Lynn, I may like him too if i ever got a chance to know him, but i dont know yet. If you really wanna help improve(or at least not worsen) the perception of people here towards our favorite knife company, perhaps you can try refraining from making such wild statements about the company or Lynn. Maybe it's best to let the products speak for themselves, after all, no one really care what a company/owner is if not their products.

This also prevents people from thinking that you are a troll trying to stir things up and add more negative perceptions towards the company, the owner and CS fans like us.

Thanks.

Seems like "hkyew" wants me to stop talking favorably about Lynn. Therefore, it stands to reason that hkyew is trying to get me to start talking badly about about Lynn, instead.

If I was talking to hkyew right now I'd thank him for his suggestion but say "no thank you." Hkyew is free to do as he pleases, but there are obviously much better places for him to denigrate Lynn Thompson than the Cold Steel forum.

Good thing I'm not talking to hkyew right now.
