Congress pattern

The Queen Cutlery Workhorse Series Congress. It has 1095 blades and winterbottom handles. It looks really nice, and can be found for a good price looking around. I dont know if its USA made though or where, it dosnt say anywhere. Dose anyone here Know?

I have never seen a Queen which was not made in the US. If this is made anywhere else, it's a new one on me.

knarfeng is correct.....Queen Cutlery is "only" made in the U.S.A. ....................always has been.........and the handles just to clarify are Imitation Winterbottom Bone (Queen Cutlery has used both Winterbottom Bone and the Imitation Winterbottom)

Good deal, thanks guys. This along with a case congress are diffidently on my list for my coming birthday, because that queen looks awesome.

Back in 2010 Great Eastern Cutlery made a 4 blade congress in which one of the pen blades was replaced by a medium sized spear point blade. The sheepsfoot blades were more wharncliffe in shape, so it gave the knife a slimmer profile when closed. Pretty unique and ingenious, in my opinion. Otherwise they make a plethora of regular congress models, all of which I would also highly recommend.-nate

By a wide margin I prefer the slimness of a half congress, but I still like the 4-blade ones as well and was tickled to get this one recently. It's one of the ones mentioned by robot37 above. Tomorrow makes a week of EDC. I'm surprised how much the extra thickness goes unnoticed in my pocket. I wanted it because of the spear blade but it's the blade I use the least. Like another member posted, I love not having to turn it around to get to one of the wharncliffe blades which I use most often.

I own a Congress by RR with nice orange bone handles

For sure, some of your GECs are nicer, but I wanted to try out the pattern. I EDC it from time to time, but not to often. I miss a bigger main blade at that pattern for food prep or whatever.

Kind regards
Andi
