So far, I have eventually stripped all my coated infi.
I have not done my B11 or my KZII yet.
I usually wait to strip them until I have finished convexing the edges, and am satisfied.
The reason I like to convex them while they are coated, is it cuts down on scratches higher up on the blade.
Should not have too much effect on the resale value. If it is a user, beat up finish and stripped user are a wash.
I do like nekid infi a lot. I really don't see any need to pretty it up.
It is easier to clean it up.
I would not worry about rust, but then again, I don't live on the coast, or in a swamp.
I have not had any rust issues with my stripped infi.
I do know, occasionally you can get a spot or two of decarb that you may have to rub off. Even scotch bright pads are enough for me.
