Considering a Mini CQC-8 Horseman. Thoughts?

Awesome, thanks for the feedback, guys!

I had been wondering about a coated blade, but seeing the "love" you put into that one, DC, I may be a believer.

That does look pretty good doesn't it? Never thought of doing something like that. Killer look DC.

Jaydub. If you get one, take some pics and let me/others know what you think about the Emerson because you sound just like I feel about them. You hear so much crap out there, I've just come to the thinking of "you aren't going to know unless you buy one yourself." <---That has seemed to work well for me.:D

Definitely liking mine. I've had a couple (mini cqc15, mini roadhouse, gentleman jim) and the horseman is the only one I kept. Its a bit pocket heavy for how small the blade is, but its a glove in the hand and I like the blade shape. It doesn't slice as well as my para2, but I'm not outside cutting things all day. Jean pockets + wave =

Received a Horseman on Thursday.
I have been collecting knives for 8 or more years can't remember? getting old :p
I have Sebenza's, Benchmade's and of course Spyderco's, and even the latest's Southard.
This is the knife I've been looking for! If all I owned, was The Horseman, and a Spyderco Stretch, this is all I need.
Could have saved a fistful of money, for me its perfect!
Note:Others may feel different, but I just got to tell someone. :D

I held a Horseman at Plaza Cutlery and it immediately felt right in my hand,
But I got the Mini15 instead and don't regret it at all.
The recurve blade as a user is amazing and the grip feels more secure to me than the horseman
I don't think you will be disappointed
I've owned and used several different models, the thing about Emerson's is this
Your favorite one is the one you are holding at the moment
