I am looking at a Queen Country Cousin (aka sodbuster) as an addition to my pack gear. I spoke to their customer service rep, and was told they run their D2 at 58-59 Rc. Any feedback regarding, Rc, fit & finish, overall quality, and/or efficacy as a woods blade. I love the in hand feel of a sodbuster, as well as the simple lines of the knife. I have fixed blade bush knives, and pocket clip folders I use as well, but am looking to add a plain jane pocket knife to my bushcrafting arsenal.

Have not owned any of Queen's knives, but have heard a lot of people complain about the factory edges. Otherwise feedback has generally been good that I've seen.

You might give Great Eastern Cutlery a look. 1095 blade steel, made well, and they've got a few good classic patterns.

my grandpa gave me a sodbuster when i was little. i still have it and love this blade. you can't go wrong with one.
