Considering a PM2

Really love my griptilians and the axis lock, however I am considering getting a PM2. If any one has any pros/cons or pics of some your PM2s I would appreciate it. Compression lock vs axis comments?

Just get one! Best $120 I've ever spent on a knife.

Both locks are ingenious, you have to check out the compression lock if you're a knife nut. :D

Also, you have a gold membership so you could easily sell a PM2 on the exchange in the unlikely event you decide it's not for you.

I prefer the PM2 to the Grips. I bought one to try it because of the hype and gave it to my younger brother after a week. Not a fan. I also carried a 940 for a good bit, great knife but I'd still go PM2.

Also can be modified to suit your taste.

This is my EDC, S35VN Moteng exclusive. Love it. I resisted buying the "popular" model for so long but it just works well. That's why it's popular I guess. :D

Best knife out there for the price. Only con is you will want more! Here is a pic of most of mine.

The PM2 is a lot of fun to play with but if you like axis locks check out spyderco's manix2 knife. The caged bearing lock operates similar to axis. And the knife ergomonics are great too!

I feel the need to ask, because I've been considering this matter myself and I need answers. What is it about the PM and the PM2 knives, that make them worth the added price over the Endura? How do they blow the Endura out of the water, and emerge as the superior blade? Is it the usage of steel, or a different matter?

After the locking mechanism it would have to be grip ergonomics. The PM has a finger choil just before the cutting edge for choking up on the blade. The fit of the grip to your hand is very solid. The Endura feels sleeker.

The construction, compression lock, F&F, steel variety, pivot, made right in Golden Co/USA/Earth, etc. etc.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Endura and have a box full of them but the PM2 just works better for me.

I recommend getting one. I warn you tho, you wont be picking up the Griptilian as much after.

I havnt bought any spy dies in a while. Except I did get a PM2 and just love it. It's really a great knife.

Might be the best mid size production knife around, hands down. Great ergonomics and very good strength for its size. Price makes it a bargain.
