Considering a Sebenza Collection......

Just FYI, a while back I thought there was a price increase on LE sebenzas, turns out the specific dealer is adding on a bit extra ($100) above factory pricing.

So it does pay to shop around and compare.
 
Collecting what you enjoy is the main thing here. I collect coins,some very rare for investment purposes and some just cause I like them.I also have some watches,mostly $150-$300 but I do own a Rolex(Daytona),not a starter one either.I started collecting knives and just fell in love with it.Within 6 weeks I have purchased four knives,with 2 more(Sebenzas) I will be buying tomorrow.I think you should collect what you like for now,and when you are not interested anymore,move on to something else.Good luck with your project.

Boy oh Boy do I understand, here-4/5 weeks 21- knives. Once I get started, usually doesn't let up for awhile. Same with older currency collection, etc.,etc. Rolex's...

Do I ever understand.. :D :D
 
WOW! 21 knives in 4-5 wks? I think you surely have the sickness LRJ35A!You know whats real sad about this thread(not really), is the talk about guns and cameras as well haunting peoples sleep.I have a Leica digital camera and want a Leica 35mm.I also have a fully customized Ruger 10/22 and a Sako that was run through the McMillan Factory and turned into a tack driving work of art.Well,at least I'm not alone in my ravaging sickness.

So LRJ35A: What have you decided about CRK knives? Are any of the 21 knives in 4-5 weeks CRK's???
 
Nope, got a few Randalls, several lower end customs(Drop Point Hunter styles I just liked), 1 CR Shadow III, a R.O. Easler, a Arno Bernard, little bit of everything so far.

On the hunt for some Sebb's, think I like the graphic ones. Also may start on a few William Henry's, they look real nice, but like a Seb, never held one..
