Considering cqc13--offer your thoughts

Hey guys--got the 13 today. OK--totally impressed. I'm actually a little surprised by just how impressed I am by it--I've had some nice folders pass through my hands, an SNG, a Socom Delta, a few higher end Benchmades and Spyderco's... but there is something about this knife (maybe Emersons' in general) that speaks to what I want out of a folder. So, the F&F is pretty spot-on, the blade is dead center, lock-up early and not sticky... yes, the action is pretty tight (though not at all gritty), but I do not mind that one bit--I actually prefer it. No play at all--everything is tight and solid. It fits my hands as if it were measured for them; the G10 reminds me of the kind you find on a Millie... just right in my book. And it is a substantial, solid... and (just enough-without being gratuitous) it is a scary folder. It will very likely be my regular edc, and be my go-to folder when hiking, fishing, etc... back-up to my favorite fixed blade, a BK7--until the Busse TGLB arrives ;-) The wait is killing me with regard to that one...

I'll post some pics tomorrow when I have some daylight. Thanks again for your help with this way-too-enjoyable obsession! What now??? Maybe it's time to take another look at those cqc 7's... the super 7 looks, well, super.

Yes, my thought is what are you waiting for?

Nice! I want one, it's next on my list.

OK, so I bought a subscription and I'm trying to upload photos for you fine gents, but no luck... and I read all the instructions... any sage words of advice?

Do you have a photo hosting account? I use photobucket when I'm posting from my phone and tinypic when I'm on my laptop.

Upload photos to the hosting site, select the IMG code (may also have forum next to it) and cut and paste it into your post.

the pics are on my laptop already, I was trying to upload them from there directly--no luck, not sure why.
