that buyers must have valid contact information too. I've had a few buyers who would email me through BFC, but had invalid email accounts themselves and there was no way to reply without bumping the thread.
Most people are on BF.com because the site is well run and has a reputation of mutual respect amongst members. At least that's why I'm here. The wall of bumps situation shows a lack of respect for fellow members, but more importantly it will erode the BF.com culture as unscrupulous sellers use it as a sales tactic.
At first blush it does seem a bit annoying that a big chunk of a page can be taken up by one seller's bumps, particularly if you have a vested interest at the time.
But, imho, if a guy pays his membership and as long as he is not a dealer, changing the rules because an individual has more knives to sell than the next guy seems rather... um...
...er, un-American.
Who is to say what the right number of knives to sell is (besides Spark of course )?
If he is a dealer or gets a bad rep as a seller, well, karma seems to have a way of working these things out.
