contact wheel durometer

As some of you guys must know ebay has some contact rubber 2"x12" contact wheels up for bid. They are Shore A 45 durometer. Is this hard enough for knive making use. Thank you.

70 is considered "medium" , which is what the wheels I got from bader were.

Hmmm says that 45 shore A is about like a eraser. Think I will pass. Everytime I comprimise on this stuff it usually pays off with regret sooner or later. Thanks for the link.
