Contact wheel for KMG Clone

I have a extra contact wheel for my Grizzly grinder (8") What do I have to do to use it on the KMG clone. On the grizzly it is a drive wheel so it mounts solid but will need to turn on the KMG. Do I need to get some type of bearing to go into the hole? Does it need to be a roller bearing or will a simple sleeve bearing from Mc Carr work? This is currently my only stumbling block on this project so your thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated. By the way I don't have the money to go get another contact wheel so would like to make do with what I have. Thanks
Chris

You need roller bearings. A sleeve will work for a very short time before it wobbles out causing out of balance as well as other issues you do not want to deal with.
Invest in decent bearings as it is relatively cheap to do the project 1x spending the necessary money up front than it is to spend even more for the right solution.

Another option would be to use two pillow blocks on the end of the tool arm.
