Contact wheel hardness for belt grinder.

I've been researching belt grinders for a while and stumbled on this link (below) for custom-made polyurethane wheels in steel and aluminum. The prices seem really good, but they have a wide range of polyurethane hardnesses available for the contact surface. Their offerings begin at 60A (equivalent to car tire) and go from there. Are the drive wheels you guys like harder than the average car tire; just a little or a lot?

Thanks for the input.

edit: There is a neat thread on poly vs rubber wheels here on BF :http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...el-questions?highlight=contact+wheel+hardness

It sounds as though rubber is more heat resistant, but if rubber wheels come in a range of hardnesses I would still appreciate some input in that regard before I spend any money. Thanks guys.

To each his own I reckon but I prefer a 90 durometer wheel for my grinding. I get better grind lines. I have a 90 duro polyurethane wheel from sunray and it has worked just fine. Rubber is more heat resistant but I have hogged some substantial metal without any problems. They are heavier than a Bader though.
