Contact Wheel size?

Looking at picking up a contact wheel. I am just starting out making knives and my interest right now is knives under 12” hunting style. If you could have only one what size would you choose?

ten inch should work for most things. four inch are good for double edge fighting knives, 14 inch and bigger seem to be used for kitchen knives.

I've got a 10" and do the size knives you are describing. The 10" would be my recommendation.

Ok thanks. How are the wheels from AliExpress? They seem to have the best pi ricing.

Mine work fine. You just have to watch the bearing sizes. They're not direct fit for 1/2" shafts unless you supply your own bearing.
