Hi Guys,

anyone know what happened to the "search" option?

I have no choice but to ask where one can get contact wheels, I wanted to search it but.....
Bertie Rietveld is no longer around and I need a wheel 12" x 1".
Can anybody help please?

thanks

Mike

Has anyone purchased a contact wheel from Herbst?
Wondering about the quality and how much shipping/duty costs.

Hey there Fitzo,

thanks for the reply, looks like I will have to get a paid membership.

Just so happens I am going to S.A. for some personal business around Feb/March next year.
Herbst happens to be close to where I grew up in Pretoria, I will look him up.

Can I bring you something from the old country? A bit of warm weather maybe ;)......or a lion?

Mike, I think the plan is to return search capabilites to everyone but there may be some hardware upgrades necessary first. There's a sticky up top the forum, and threads over in Service and Support about it all.

I hope you have a safe and pleasant journey home. Thanks for the offer of the lion, but Nanc insists one pet (dog) is enough! :)

Here's the link to the Stephen Bader Company.

Of all the things Fitzo has lost...:p

Thanks for the useful links Mike, I didn't have the one for Contact Rubber stored in my favorites yet. -Matt-

Dang, I didn't even notice my error, Matt! Thanks for the correction.

BTW, Contact Rubber is in Bristol, WI, west of Kenosha. They are the source for getting wheels refurbished, too.

I had no idea that it was that close. There is a gentleman's club in Bristol, from what I hear. Kill two birds with one stone? :D

Thanks for the additional search info Fitz, and the links and thank you also for the good wishes, it is high summer there now and I could use a bit of that, I was raised on sunshine, this winter is rough on a man who used to think zero Celcius was bitterly cold. :p Now I think zero is barmy.Everything is relative.

Thanks for the correction Matt and thanks for your input Terry. The Bader wheels look good.

Take care guys. :D

Mike
