Im just getting into knife making. Im attempting to make a grinder. I know not a thing about making a grinder nor can i afford to buy one. Im looking for instructions and dimensions of a grinder. Im also looking for any used contact wheels that i can use.

I have been on line looking at the wheels. I don’t know what sizes to use plus they are more then i can afford.

I’m not looking for a handout just some help. I have made several knives out of files. I used a file to make the knifes i have made and man that takes some time.

Take a look at this oldie but goodie thread on my grinder build. I'd do it a LOT different today, but there's some good information there from everybody else who stopped in over the years.
