Hi everyone,

Please forgive me if this is stupidly obvious. I have read the rules and the FAQ's, but have not been able to figure out how to either:

A) Post to someones profile
B) Send a private message.

Is there some kind of built in timer I have to complete before I can contact someone here using those methods? Am I missing something simple? Thank you for your time.

You can't send PMs (actually called Conversations) at your membership level, but you should be able to post to member's profile page (unless they've made it private).

Thank you for your response. Here is a screenshot of the member here I am trying to contact. It does not appear that I have the option to type into a window such as displayed in your image.

Yup, I get the same thing. He may have it set so that only members he's following can poste. If there is a thread he has posted in, you could try tagging him by putting the @ symbol in front of his name and say you're trying to contact him.
