Anyone know if Darren is incommunicado for some reason?

Reason I ask is that I've always been able to reach him by email, and he's always replied promptly - recently I've sent about 10 emails to him about a forge but haven't heard back.

I realize that sometimes emails go awry or get caught in spam filters, so I just sent a couple more today from different email accts.

Just hoping everything is OK with him - this is NOT a gripe in any way!

I spoke to him yesterday and he has been very busy with his teaching position. It took awhile for him to get back to me. Just have a little more patience and I sure he will respond to you.;)
 
I got an e-mail from Darren today. I don't think that he is able to send e-mail from his web site for some reason.. He stated that he has sent several e-mails to me and this is the 1st one that I recieved so far.. E-MAIL him again and let him know that you haven't heard from him..

IG - just so you know, I'm not talking many emails recently - I've sent 10 over the course of the last 2 months and gotten no replies, which is weird. I even thought maybe his replies were getting caught by MY spam filter, so I specifically "allowed" my filter to pass thru anything with ***"elliscustomknifeworks"**** in the address to make sure I wasn't missing anything!

Also, the main reason I've tried to reach him is that he was kind enough to send me several items when my forge got delayed, and said for me to pay him for everything when the forge was done. This was about 3 mos ago, but I never heard back from him, and I didn't want him to be out the $, so I was emailing him to get an "invoice" so I could pay him for what I've gotten!

Maybe I'll try calling, but I know he is busy, and his site says email is best so...

I emailed him last Thursday and he replied a few hours later. They fill their orders and catch up on emails and phone calls on Mondays and Thursdays. Try one of those days.

Hi Bill,

I haven't gotten any emails from you recently. Could be on my end or yours, not sure, but my isp has had issues recently (and I'm in the process of switching to another service provider soon)...they have issues way too often for me to keep my business stuff with them where receiving email from and responding to customers is paramount. Give me a call tomorrow sometime if you get a chance, I'll be in the shop all day working trying to get the current batch of forges further along...almost finished! :)

Yeah, it's kinda weird - like I said above I tried different days, different times, different email accts and nothing seems to have gotten to you - I think it is probably at your end, since all my other stuff seems to go thru, but who can really tell with these ISPs!!!!!
