Hey All
The Sebenza is a great blade I personally prefer the 25 over the other models but that's beside the point. What I would like to hear from you is what you think the Sebenza would be if Chris Reeve invented it today rather than 25 years ago.

Wait, what???

The 25 was "reinvented" in 2012...

I know it was reinvented and I like what they've done but it was still based on the original, I'm thinking about handle shape, features like pivot bushings, handle materials, flipper, bearings, lock bar insert, over- travel stop, do you think that Reeve would be on some of these band wagons?

Why? If it ain't broke dont fix it.

You want him to give it a 1/4 inch blade, a flipper, an orange handle and call it "bushcraft ops" or something like everything else?

I mean, what's wrong with the handle shape?

If Loveless came up with his drop point design today, would it have been a nightmare grind tanto instead?

Chris isn't about jumping on bandwagons, he's the reason why we see all the titanium framelocks out there today. CRK sets their own trends, and everyone else just follows behind.

Also, for the record, CRK changed the handle shape on the 25 to be more ergonomic. They also do use different handle materials from different inlays to the CF scale'd exclusives.

Pivot bushings? The 21 has one! Over travel stops? Have you ever looked at an Umnumzaan? Lockbar inserts? Both the Zaan' and the 25 have a ceramic lockface that is replaceable.

I'm not sure what you're asking? Perhaps you're imagining a CRK on bearings with a flipper? Not gonna happen...
