la Matanza ("the massacre")

Before the Spanish conquest of El Salvador, the area was inhabited by the Pipil Indians. Very few Salvadorans now speak the indigenous language, which virtually disappeared after 1932, when General Maximilio Hernández Martínez suppressed rural resistance by massacring 30,000 mostly Indian rural peasants. Those who survived la Matanza ("the massacre") hid their Indian identity by changing their dress and speaking only Spanish.

Mestizo

Mestizo is a colonial Spanish and Portuguese (Mestiço) term that was used in the Spanish Empire and Portuguese Empire in Latin America to refer to people of mixed European and Amerindian ancestry.

the "Fumiga" (foo-mee-gah)
that's how little children call ants (formigas) here in Brazil, I think it sounds cool and kinda cute too.

How about the

Be-estee, like "beastie", but instead of a "t" it would be a knife with crossguard?? You get the "be" of Becker and the "Esee" with an added blade between the letters.

When do I get my prize??:D
ESEE and Becker Knives

How about Hormiga Fuego (Fire Ant)? It's small, ferocious, has a mean bite, and darned near impossible to kill off.

Oops-someone beat me to it.

How about Avispa (hornet)?
