But wait 'till you see the other one I submitted. A little more centrist, but like the curved one.

I like a lot of these. Here they are, in no particular order...

The ryan-2: Sheer simplicity, and I love high spines.

The mitin-1: Functional

The michael-1: Centricity itself.

The joel-6: Recurve, forward rake, elegant handle, surprising.

The rockspyder-1 aka No. 7: Compact and functional, good curves, simple but effective.

The Odessa II and Osiris by Wong: Modern styling, lots of pleasant shapes.

The joel-2: Simplicity cannot be beat.

The Raven by jeffj: Good mix of the tanto and curved blades, compact and meaty, nice modern lines on the handle.

Blackbird by jeffj: Even better, straight ahead.

The flava-1: I like it, but where is the edge?

Minimalistic, clearly the winner on the less is more school, a great neck knife. I think I would buy one of those. Great curves.

The hlbennett-2: WOW, that's a lot of knife, and I love it, Bolo/Bowie meets Khukuri pure Camp.

All, very cool.

Have to admit I like Joel's-4 Wharncliff blade frame lock.

But I am a folder man, but there are some fine fixed blades.

I actually had them posted prior to the deadline. My ISP took the server offline and never told anyone, so when Mike put them on his server my pics werent there. I guess I am just out of luck. Met the deadline, but its probably too late now for Mike to post them in the contest. I will change ISP's tomorrow. I wouldn't have been likely to win anyway but it would have been nice to have a chance.

Wheres mine????????????

Mike, I have sent you an e-mail (info@bladeforums) concerning my design that I sent via the mail. I hope nothing happened to it.

Good luck everyone, all of the designs are really good.

Excellent work. There is no need to worry about a shortage of creative talent here.

(anyone know where I can we get a thumbs up icon)

Friends, thank you for your appreciation.
Sing, it is not a folder. So far it is a fixed blade which easily can be reengineered to folder if required.
