all hints have been answered for the time being, that i know of...

keep at it! once you get the right hint, it's pretty obvious.

this is not "guess the animal". your guesses are not going to be public anyway.

wow, something like 9+ entries. so exciting.

okay. we has a first prize winner, based on overall precision and volume of answers: Captain Airyca

i wasn't originally going to have a runners-up category, per se... but JMuckle's entry almost matched the #1 entry exactly, except for a couple right but not specific enough, which is damn impressive given level of asking for hints... so, a prize

the next two, johnny1280 and Warrior in order, had basically the majority right, but one or two little wrongs
