I have to start by apologizing that I don't remember the exact model of knife that this is. But it's a 3.5" drop point blade made from 154CM with black micarta handle slabs. And it's number 981.
It's sporting a Buy Brown Kydex sheath with a small TekLok.
The Ranger band is on there to hold a firesteel, matchcase, small light, or similar small item. Also serves to keep the sheath a bit quieter when creeping through brush.
This is a very nice knife, but I find that I don't use it much. I've got a couple of customs that seem to have replaced it. It is very lightly used and pretty sharp--cuts hair, but not 'popping sharp'.
I thought it would be easy to give away, but I'm questioning myself now....
Nevertheless, you guys here at W&SS are worthy of such a knife, and I came up with yet another crazy contest to give it away.
The Rules:
1. The contest is based on the game called "20 questions". I'm thinking of a person. The first person to guess this person wins #981 (with Buy Brown sheath).
2. One guess per day per person.
3. You are allowed to ask one question per day. It must a yes/no question. My answer will be in the form of "Yes", "No", "Not to my knowledge", "I've no F'ing clue", or "This is not a Yes/No question".
4. You must be legally allowed to own this knife. I'll ship it to anyone/anywhere, but I won't insure it for overseas delivery.
5. I'm not a subject matter expert on the person who's identity is the correct answer. I will do my best to answer correctly, but I refuse to be held liable for any mistakes I make. Sorry in advance if I screw this up.
6. There's a fair chance I've overlooked some important rule, so I'll also reserve the right to add additional rules if need be. Game On.
