Contest?

I'm considering having a contest to give you guys a chance to design a new knife to add to my line. I used to give the winner of the contest one of the knives for free, but it usually turned out that no one else was interested in ordering one, so it turned into a losing proposition for me. It also was more of a popularity contest for the designer, not the design. So in this case the winner will get a $50 discount on the knife.
Anyone interested?

If there is enough interest I will start a new thread so you guys can post pictures of your designs.
 
Since I'm sending you a pattern of my design anyways, feel free to enter it, if you decide to have the competition. If I win, I'll put the $50 towards another knife order with you.
 
Also, "my" design utilizes your Bluegill handle, so if that disqualifies it, I have a half dozen other designs that I can submit.
 
I can come up with something.

Should it be on graph paper or just have lengths marked off ?
 
How about a panel of judges that are not submitting designs, rather than a poll type vote as you usually do (popularity contest?)
Maybe 3 moderators from other areas of the forums? Run the contest in General
Maybe 3 or 4 guys randomly selected from your Proud supporters list?
Maybe some of the other knife makers on the forums?
Maybe one Judge, (perhaps an author who uses the Kane knife in his book)

I would agree to judges from this forum.
