I would like this knife because I do not own any knives yet. I have many uses for a knife at work but always end up borrowing one. I just stumbled apon this site the other week and started researching my what I would like for my first knife purchase.

I don't own a slipjoint simply because I don't know very much about them (benefits, disadvntages etc.)

I have case RusLock. Interesting designe, but I don't really like the steel. IMHO case not the best EDC, just colectable :)

P.S. the reason I play this game ? Fust 4 fun :) (never won anything yet, so don't worry :)
 
Well, I have never owned a slip-joint folder because I've always been distracted by locking knives. My first real knife was a Spyderco Delica, and a few years later I came into a couple of Buck 112s, but I never got into slip-joints. That is, of course, until I started to hang out here. I started to look at them in a whole different light. They suddenly became beautiful to me, and I suddenly thought about getting some. I haven't as of yet because I'm saving for a couple of knives (among them a Pete's 110 and possibly a small Classic Unique Sebenza in the style of Tom Mayo's Dragonfly Sebenza), and I am hoping to get them quicker by being really good about saving money :D . Thus, I don't have one, thus, I'm entering this contest, and thus, here's my number:

MamBo, and made2cut, you both were the closest, sorry but I have only 1 knife to give away so both of you pick another #,(keep in mind you were both the closest), and the one closest to my original # will get the knife. I'll wait till tomorrow 7-23-02 4:30 PM if I get no response from either one, than I'll pick someone else.

It would have been easier for me to pick another #, but not fair or honest.:)
 
Well the winning # was 1369, and I hadn't heard from MamBo, or made2cut, so the next closest person/# was USAFSP his # was 1575 a difference of 206.

USAFSP email me with an address and I'll send out the knife.
 
So far nobody answers, I'll wait till Fiday 7-26-02 and I'll go with the next closest entry posted before I posted the winner.:confused:

I never thoughy it was so hard to give away a knife.:D

So I posted it a short time after you picked it. That should not make any difference.

BTW, I am making a movie and need my bad guys to all be armed with custom knives. I have 455 bad guys. Now is the chance to get your knife shown nationally on the Silver screen. I will not be able to return the knives but I promise to give you credit. Just donate a knife and watch for your name when the movie credits run after:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I could start filming with this winning knife or is that knif or knib????:p
