Sold! - Thanks Guys!

This is one of my new designs I call the "Conundrum". I designed this knife to be a purely defensive blade that combines elements of Renaissance era daggers with aspects of traditional Japanese cutlery.

The blade is 1/4" 5160; an outstanding "all around" steel choice for those requiring toughness and edge holding. The blade has been heat treated to 58 HRC. The blade features an attractive two tone satin finish.

The handle is quite comfortable in either standard or reverse grip. The wrap is nylon and is impregnated with epoxy to prevent unraveling or moisture retention. The under wrap is a choice piece of genuine orange sting ray skin.

The handle is also skeletonized and tapered; putting the balance of the knife just behind the guard. The knife is very lively in the hand; ideal for a defensive blade.

The menuki is a highly detailed dragon. The wrap is extremely grippy, and ensures that you will have an solid grip.

The sheath is quite secure! I designed the sheath so that the user could get their entire hand on the handle of the knife during the draw. The sheath is drilled for a large Tek-Loc, and includes a IWB loop for discrete carry.

The knife features a double hollow grind and a fine tip. It was certainly a chore grinding it! This is a great knife for those seeking an optimized defensive blade!

Thanks guys!

I actually may offer a single edge version in the future for those who live in areas with heavy restrictions on daggers.

A little smaller about 7 inches maybe?

It's tough not grabbing it being it has my name on it but it's a tad big.

Beautiful all the same and the symetry really looks good.

I love this idea! I know in CT you can't carry anything with a blade over 4" and it can't be double edged. A 4" single edge boot dagger in this style would be awesome!

Maybe even instead of the wrap, some Micarta or G10 scales.

Thanks!

I actually have a scaled down version in the works!

Scales are planned for future models as well.
