I had some one ask me if I knew the process for converting a buck 110 to an auto. I hadn't ever heard of such a thing. Any one here? What do they do?

Boker makes autos and knives that can be converted to auto. I have seen three different spring mechanisms used in autos, coil, split Leif, and thrust none of witch are particularly applicable to a Buck 110. Not saying it cant be done Just seems like it would be easer to make a hole new knife than stuff that junk under a Bucks liner

Hello TMickley,

Hope the winter snow has finally left your yard, it's still hanging around in mine. Infact the ice just left our local lakes last weekend.

You will find that coverted Buck 110's are quite popular with auto knife-nuts. In fact I have one in my collection of autos. They run about $ 125.00 up to $ 165.00depending on which Dealer is selling them, and what handle material they have. If you run a seach of Dealers like www.PVKNIFE.com you will see how they are set up.

Hope this info has been helpful.
