Hi, thanks for looking at one more custom from me. I got another great looking knife/sheath combo for you to see, and this one is awesome (I kind of want to keep this piece for myself) :) This is a custom drop point style knife with convex blade grind, 8-5/8" overall length, o1 tool steel. Black textured G-10 scales with copper pins and liners, and black kydex sheath with textured edges to go with it. Hope you like!

NOTE: Yes this piece has a hole in the front of the handle. Some people might be angry that I broke some trademark. This hole has a chamfer in it and is different than from the trademark hole. Plus this is not a production piece, just a one off. Next one like this will not have a hole there. Sorry in advance, and if I am breaking any rules, I will remove the listing. Thanks.

As Always, I will ship in flat rate boxes here in the US and standard First Class International for overseas. Can insure the piece if asked. Price is for knife and sheath only, and I will calculate shipping cost based on location (I won't charge anything extra for handling). Thank you for looking! Feel free to ask questions.

For those that cannot PM me, my E-mail is: tossik@gmail.com

Do you think the copper will react to the metal tang like it does ever other. It's beautiful and I'm right on the fence about buying it.

What's the heat treat process? Finally rc?

Smart looking knife.

Thanks a lot! I do like it a lot myself :)

Very nice one! Good luck with the sale

Thank you sir! It will be one happy owner.

I have very similar knife I use when I go fishing/camping that I have been using for just over a year that has copper and g10, and because the copper is layered in epoxy then metal, I have not seen any issues with it yet. The exterior will develop a natural patina, that can be left as is or polished very easily with some green paste. I do quite a few knives with such spacers and no complaints or problems yet. As for heat treat I tend to go by the book, preheat to 1200 austenitize at 1475 for 15-20 min quench in oil. Tempered it at 350 for two hours. RC should be right at 62 or so. I did not test with machine on this one, but tested different one from same batch. Hopefully within a month or two, I will get my own hardness tester, so I will put those numbers on all knives, as right now I have to send it to a friend every time :) Hope that answers your questions. It's a great looking and feeling knife. Handle feel turned out great on this one.

Yowza! Very nice knife, sir.

Do you have a web site / FB page with other examples of your work?

Thank you, happy to hear good feedback on the knife! No website yet. My brother and I are working on it right now. We just agreed on a name finally that will be used :) Hopefully I will have a website/blog up soon, then FB and IG right along it.

That handle and those copper liners Match up so perfectly.... 😍

Thank you! We try :)

Gorgeous knife! Any plans for taking on more stain resistant steels in the future?

Hey thanks Bogdan! I actually have a few knives in AEBL in the making right now (mainly kitchen cutlery) as well as few outdoor knives in CPM S30VN. I will try to keep a good mix of steels going for the future :)

Your designs are great and so is O1. It just happens that Virginia weather and my body chemistry work constantly to destroy anything less corrosion resistant D2. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

That makes complete sense. Be on a lookout for some of my stainless knives :)
