Convex edge burr?

What kind of burr issues/removals do you encounter when sharpening a convex edge on sandpaper & mousepad?

It depends on the steel, but usually since it is edge trailing burrs are more prominent. When I used to do that, which I don't any more, I would cut off the burr with edge into honing as necessary.
