Convex Grind?

I read all over this forum about convex grinds. I've read this FAQ. Is there more I need to know before I look into possibly having a knife done?

I'm probably being vague and for that I'm sorry, it's just a VERY new subject to me.

Yes, do get ready to buy lots of extra leather and polishing compound to keep the edge that Simon puts on sharp. A nice and thin convex grind cannot be beat for outdoors use! :thumbup:
 
brian, thanks for the plug and that is an excellent page explaining the grinds. it really breaks it down into the simplest form for the unexperienced (or the experienced)
