Convex sebenza

Just out of curiosity, has anyone gone and convexed their sebenzas? I'm entertaining the idea of convexed edges and just want to see if anyone here has any opinions/experience.

mousepad - wet/dry method, started with a sharp edge then 1500->2000 grit-> green Chromium Oxide strop. Worked out pretty well. Slices well, got a little more durability out of the edge. I'd recommend it.

But I thought the Sebenza's edge was convexed?

Hollow-ground blade, but convexed edge?

As far as sharpening, I've always had good luck with the fine-grit (green) DMT bench stones.

There are a few people who have convexed their sebenzas. I cant seem to locate the thread, but it usually works best with the small as far as I can remember

I did for a while, but recently switched back to using just benchstones, with much better results in my mind.....
