I want to pick one up because the size looks great but I worry about the handle size. How big is the handle?

I prefer the 105 to the 117......basically same size handles, but 105 has bit more blade and just visually looks better to me.
the 117 reminds me of the scaled down kabars. they work fine, just visually they look off to me.

Thanks, I think that should work. My hands are somewhere between a medium and large. I appreciate you measuring itI just measured the handle on my 118. It measures 3 13/16 inches from the back of the guard to the end of the pommel. I hope that helps you. I have a large hand and it works very well for me
I have a Buck 105. The handle is too small for my XXL hands. I don't have a Buck 117, but others have said it has basically the same handle as the 105.
nice one... they use s35vn on the pro for that I think instead of s30v (which is what most other pro's use)Ended up grabbing the 117 Pro for $120 out the door. Can’t wait to see how it is.
