Out of curiosity, where did you buy this ?Ended up grabbing the 117 Pro for $120 out the door. Can’t wait to see how it is.
FWIW - I checked the copper and clad website and they do have the 117 Pro in stock, however it is priced at $160.Out of curiosity, where did you buy this ?
Always been curious how a box of that size ups and "disappears"Apparently USPS lost my package so I won’t be getting the knife. Which is frustrating. The company did refund me the money which was generous of them
I got it from Chicago Knife Works. I’m disappointed in USPS. My Buck 110 I ordered took almost 12 days to arrive when it used to take 2-3Sorry to hear that. After your post I looked around and guessing you purchased the last 117 Pro from DLT Trading (?).
Heading to a big knife show next Friday, maybe I'll come across a similar "deal".
Are you ordering another 117 ?I got it from Chicago Knife Works. I’m disappointed in USPS. My Buck 110 I ordered took almost 12 days to arrive when it used to take 2-3
I don’t know. The 110 I got might handle all the hiking chores I need it to.Are you ordering another 117 ?
My 110 has handled any cutting chores I have ever found for it. Hiking or otherwise.I don’t know. The 110 I got might handle all the hiking chores I need it to.
I really like the 3 3/4” size. Contrary to YouTubers you don’t need a 8” survival knifeI went a period of probably 15 years when a Buck 110 was the only knife I used. From trout to opening bags of cement to self defense. It can do anything I need from a knife.
