Simple answer;
because you don't already have one.
You NEED it, the new knife smell, the graceful yet agressive grind lines, the vicious forward tanto point, the upswept edge that screams, LET ME CUT SOMETHING.
Could just be me though, my girlfriend says I have a problem, but like I keep telling her, they all have a specific purpose. You just need to find out what your WB'S purpose is.

I like the WB as well and am planning to get one as funds allow.

I don't officially have my own Strider..yet. But will in a day or two. I ordered a WB when debating whether to get a BT or WB. I chose the WB because of people's suggestions on this forum and Mike "Strider web guy". However, as soon as I receive my WB, I will place an advanced order on a BT with spine serrations. So in the end, the more things change, the more they remain the same. It's like me with SureFire lights. I purchased only one. Now I have 19. I have a feeling you'd get the WB anyway.
The bottom line is, you probably love the BT so much that the WB looks enticing. For me, it's the same thing.

Man, 19 Surefires? I thought I was bad. Actually, I got hooked up w/ Mike (StriderWebGuy) when he was selling a Surefire M3 over on the Surefire Forum. That was just a couple of weeks ago, and now I am expecting my EB-T tomorrow and my WB at the end of the week. I have caught the Strider bug - when does it end?
