cook county knife laws

what are the knife laws for cook county illinois? are they the same as chicago?

I'd really like to know that as well. The chicago knife laws suck.

I'm not aware that Cook County has any established or published laws on the books regarding knives.

EDITED to add: you would then be under the municipal requirements of whatever community you happened to be in.

I have researched it, and it appears to have no regulations beyond state law with regards to knives. Cities on the other hand are another matter.

Nice find! And no, I found nothing relating to knives.

Given that, and given that most communities in Cook County tend to closely follow Chicago ordinances, I'd suggest that at a minimum you follow Chicago laws and you'll cover a good portion of the suburbs in Cook County as well.
