The picture is of John Foresman's awesome Buck Customs display. It has won the Blade Show best of show display award at least three times and is a sight to behold. It is probably the most photographed display at the show every year. This display was also voted best of show by the exhibitors of the Buck Collectors Club. The amount of work and planning which goes into a display like this is enormous.
Great job, John.
Now I really have something to look forward to when I go to Ohio and the Fall NKCA Show this year.
mschwoeb - THANKS for posting the picture!!! As soon as John sends me the pictures they took at BLADE I will have them up on my web site and will post a link here....
Thanks ya'll. And congratulations to Larry to taking Best of Show with Blade Magazine for his comprehensive display of Factory Production knives. There is no finer display of Buck knives representing the factory production knives from 1961 until the early 80s anywhere!
Man, I am so glad everyone loves my picture! I took about 150 shots and that is one of my better ones. I have another one not as good, I will get it up as well. Paul
If you can ever work a trip to the Blade Show into your schedule, it would be worth it just to see Larry and John's collections! There were 20 tables of fine displays by Collector club members at the show. Every one of them worth the price of admission!
