Hello Folks, The drawing for this knife has been tossed around my work bench for years. It has been one of those must make eventually drawings. If you like big hunters I think you will like this one. It feels fantastic in hand.
Blade is CPM 154 .176 thick and 3.95 tip to bolsters. O/A is 8.75 in. Heat treated w/cryo quench and double tempered to 60-61 RC. I work the blade to a polish and then finish with 2000 grit. Tang is tapered and hollow ground to give the adhesive a place to stay.
Bolsters are Carbon Fiber held tight with .092 bronze welding rod.
Handle is Very! nice Ironwood burl held tight with nickel silver corby rivets, .022 orange G10 liners, and lanyard hole.
Sheath is 8-9 ounce hand tooled and hand stitched leather. I use sole leather for the Loveless cam idea and the knife is held nice and snug yet is easy to withdraw.
