Hello all , some times you just have to have fun and not worry about perfect . I have had this warthog tusk for a few years and just did not know what to do with it , so I put this together .
The blade is not centered in the tusk but is still securely fastened , epoxied and pinned with enough meat of the tusk around the hidden tang to be used but not abused .
Blade is flat ground from 5/32" 154cm , tip to bolster is 4" , edge is at 3"
Hammered Copper Bolster , black liner and copper pin .
From the blade tip to the tusk tip is 5-1/2" , while from blade tip to back of tusk curve is 7" .
Stand is made from some Ghost G-11 . If you would like a sheath made to have a cool & funky EDC , add $25.00 to the price .
Now who will be brave enough to buy and put this cool & funky letter opener on their office desk ? no one was 1st time around
My PP is sandlot@charter.net , thanks for looking . Fun comments welcomed .
