Hello Folks, Just finished this one. I like combining colors, Hope its not too gaudy. I have always enjoyed making a solid knife with a little added art. Hope you like it.

Blade is 154CM .160 thick and 3.7 from tip to guard. O/A is 8.3 in. Ground to .023 with tip at about .040 for strength. Sharpened to 23 degrees.
Heat treated with subzero to 60 RC

Guard is Nickel silver

Handle is African Blackwood with Ironwood, Brass and Box elder spacers. Pammel is 7075 aircraft aluminum.

Sheath is 8-9 ounce hand tooled and hand stitched leather.

Also got here too late, but have to say that is nowhere close to gaudy. That is beautifully put together, classy & very interesting.
 
I just received this masterful piece of work today. I can't even explain how well constructed and beautiful this is from tip to pommel. The choice of wood is spot on. Without a doubt the leather work is some of the finest I have ever seen as well! I am positive your work will be put to great use in Africa and for many years to come.
