Hello again Folks, Just finished this rather cool little cutter that could be carried in several ways. It would be up to the buyer on how he or she wants to carry it. Sheath can be built left or right hand to suit as a neck/and or belt knife, or with a clip for a boot knife. It is built very solid and is made to be used.
Blade is CPM 154 .101 thick and 2.875 tip to guard. O/A is 6.655 I heat treated it with cryo quench and double tempered. Blade is polished and finished with 2000 grit. Top edge is false but can easily be sharpened. Blade reaches .25 into pammal. An 832 screw pulls everything together nicely with high grade epoxy. I then insert a turned plug to hide the screw very nicely. If not abused this knife should last a couple hundred years.
Guard is 416 very carefully silver soldered. I use the SR Johnson process of boiling off any left over flux using baking soda and Dawn.
Handle is stabilized California Buckeye burl w/Giraffe bone, African blackwood, blue, and brass spacers. Pammel is also African blackwood.
Sheath to be determined and built for no extra charge.
Asking (withdrawn) shipped in the USA. paypal is warrencustomknives@yahoo.com
Thank you all for having a look. Alan
