Someone please desribe " stabilized" for my dumm ascz. I've got kiln dried wood that also spends 24 hours smoking hams-bacon or 12 or so doing some Marlin.
This crap is harder than a minister at a boy scout camp and I've yet to encounter one single issue........no matter...1/4 inch knife scales, a 2.5 inch wide silhouette rifle stock. Please define "stabilized" . Ya lost me with this.
I never claimed to be smart but I have a great nose.Gotta go check my boots.

Stabilized is where they take the wood and inject it with a resin (under high pressure and vacuum cycling). Some woods dont need it but others like burl and what not allows the wood to be used for things like knife handles.

Much thanks to you, amigo.

Anyway . I'l remain more careful with my replies around this place because my computer is a highly advanced machine that can detect the smell of excrement and it's origination, bro.
Looks like I need to modify me a pressure cooker.......or something "similar'.
Whaddy think ? Dry it to ultra dry...like zero and then inject (pressurize)with some urethane/epoxy or something ? I know. "Google It" I have. The links lead here and to the Briitwits" over yonder.
II'm a moron. I can make mango bread and sausage gravy better than any idiot on the planet. I need a "stabilizing' lesson without 30,000 links to knife and ..........Pen turners ???? Gimme a break..
