Does this also mean Becker will be producing blades too via Camillus? If not I need to scoop up some BK- models.
 
Yes,he aint been wrong yet. He didnt say anything about Becker. My guess would be yes.
 
Am really surprised that which had UC filed a chapter 11 last year is already operational with its new owners.
Former owners blamed stiff competition from cheap imports.
Funny once you realize that UC was primarily big on out sourcing off-shore. Surely, a great and valuable lesson to be learnt from this.

Yes, I heard that too. Unfortunately, I heard it from the same person who said the Noreastern going through the entire state of New York will completely bypass the tiny hamlet of Camillus and it will be sunny and 89 degrees today!:jerkit: NOT!!!
 
So what would they be able to make with just a handfull of workers? And I will bet 80% of the experince went out the door when the others were laid off.
 
I'd read a Shot Show report that Ethan Becker was hanging out with the Ontario folks... Ontario seems to be picking up the pace recently with more expensive and better finished models than their staple fare (e.g. Hossom Retributions, Randall series knives, stuff from Italy).

I missed out on a Patrol Machete so would be keen to pick one up 2nd time around...
 
I would bet against Becker knives being made by Ontario. Just my opinion.
 
I think the company not telling the public what their plans are, speaks volumes.
And just a very few workers are going to do what? Very low production and very low quality is all I can see.
 
Becker will not stay at Camillus either!
Unfortunately Ethan must wait until the legal dust settles before the move is official.
