Hello Folks, Just finish build on this Cool Hunter. I dont do a lot of blades with file work these days. This is a file pattern with brass pin inserts I started back around the turn of the Century.
The holes for the pins are about .075 deep. After heat treat the pins are carefully peened in place. The knife is finely finished but made to be used. One could make short order of a moose with this knife.

Blade is CPM 154 .194 thick and 4.2 tip to guard. O/A is 9. in. Heat treated with cryo quench and double tempered to 60-61 RC. Polished and hand finished with 2000 grit. Blade extends into pammel.

Guard is 416 carefully silver soldered.

Handle is very nice Sambar stag with ironwood and brass accents. Pammel is Aluminum Bronze. You don't see a lot of sambar stag with a sort of natural amber color like this. And the sellers are very proud of it too. As they should be.

Sheath is hand tooled and hand stitched 8-9 ounce leather. I use the Loveless cam idea so the knife fits nice and snug yet is easy to withdraw.

Asking (sold) delivered in the USA. My paypal is warrencustomknives@yahoo.com Thanks for having a look. Alan
