Pakistani made junk but i think it's cool all the same

Lots of great stuff! Since were showing vehicles, who still has there first ride? I have been driving this 54 Chevy since 1974. It was my fathers service station truck in the 50's-60's when I was growing up.
The memories and times I've had with this truck, well basicly has been my whole life. It is a never ending project that keeps me outa trouble working on it, I just got it back together last year after building a 383 stroker, 700R4 trans, power steering, disc brakes, complete rewire and gages.
It aint no show truck, cause I'll never be finished with it and thats the way I like it.

I hid all the wiring I could

My buddy Ryan, helped me with the wiring, celibrating the completion!

After I got it all back together I drove it up to Utah so my Mom and Dad could take it for a spin down memory lane.

Great truck and great story. I am sure that your parents had a good time traveling down memory lane.

Cool thread & great pics, folks. I particularly like the bridge lamps and the monster Vette. Here are a few of my favorite items that I happen to have pics of.

Connemara Marble, quarried from one location on Earth, western Ireland. My family is half Irish, and we all love it. It ranges from 300 to 900 million yrs old, with the darker being oldest. I'm considering getting a pair of knife scales or revolver stocks made from it if possible.

Vintage International-Harvester reflector flares with flags. Not one of a kind, but very old. I thought some of you may enjoy them. They're super high quality, and a fine piece of engineering ... windproof, built like a tank, very functional, and everything folds up into a tiny box. I carry them in the vehicle.

Great pics everyone!
unfortunately, I do not have a pic of my most treasured item as it is still in my storage unit. I was at a Marilyn Manson show a number of years back , 6th row, I caught his water bottle. When he threw it into the crowd, it came directly to me like it was supposed to be mine. :D Some huge guy behind me tried to grab it out of my hand...that is until I turned to him and gave him my best "I will tear your throat out with my dull teeth" looks. :devilish:

Well I'm not sure if you guys will think this stuff is cool but they are definately momentos to me.

Complete sticker sheet given to me by Amy-O at the end of my first Blade 2007

The very first Swiss Army Knife that Victorinox allowed to be made in public. Made by Swiss Bianco at Blade 2009 and I purchased it. It was made even neater because it was witnessed by a couple of fellow Hogs.

Electronically detonated .50 cal blank that propelled a steel rod. It was used by the bomb squad to diffuse a pipe bomb in a case I worked a long time ago.

THE Taser cartridge that I volunteered to be shot with the very first time I saw a Taser in person. Some of you may know the shooter...he goes by "CamoMan". And yes I did take the full five second "ride." And yes I am stupid enough to have volunteered to be Tasered since during training for educational purposes.

Messer, that's pretty cool stuff, to me ... but yikes!, I would not want any parts of that taser, except maybe being the guy who fires it.

SueZQ, if that's not already a line in a rock tune, it should be.

I got this massive Zombie Tools slayer named "The Hellion" a while back. 20 inches of 5160 madness (Large Seb and XDM compact for size comparison :-)...

This has to be one of the coolest threads on any forum I have ever seen. Just such great pics of art and cars and knives (of course) and getting to see some of you guys with your families and pics of your office views, everything about this is just fantastic. I'll have to dig some stuff up that I can post. And so far the best item is the shrapnel!

lol. So what do you have?

I posted a few pics earlier in the thread but here is another. Pardon the mess in the garage I took this picture the weekend my wife and I moved. It's a 2009 Kawasaki ZX14 with a Velocity Racing Turbo. At 10:1 compression she makes roughly 300 HP on pump gas and around 350 HP on race gas with the boost turned up a little bit. Will run very high 7's low 8's in the 1/4 mile at around 180 MPH.

straight out drag bike. Yeah, I think you'd win. My car does everything on street tires and pump gas, lol. Have you run at Denver or where? Denver's track is at 6000 ft. That is about 0.7 seconds to 1 secnd slower than sea level.

I'd be surprised if anyone else here (or most any other place for tha matter) had another Texas Longhorn Arms Grover Improved #5 revolver. His vision of the modern rendition of Elmer Keith's legendary No. 5 revolver, which if I understand correctly is on display in a Keith Museum in a Cabela's in Idaho (where Keith lived/worked).

These are fairly rare and the revolver fans will notice a very distinct and usable feature common to most TLA revolvers. Unfortunately, Mr. Grover was apparently a better revolver builder than business man, an TLA went out of business years ago and he passed, so there's no more to be had.

You mean besides the lock on the cylinder pin and the fact the loading gates on the left side?

I've got a 2004 CBR1000RR thats pretty nuts, but no match for the ZX14. I've only got 168 dyned RWHP. But it carried me to 9.93 at 144.

nice trap speed. I think you have to be a pretty skilled rider to go into the 9's on a street bike with no extended rear arm or wheelie bars. any pics?

Bingo, good eye. Yep, for those of us that grew up with Rugers, etc., loading/unloading the gun generally meant transitioning it over to the left hand. Granted, loading/unloading a SA revolver is not considered a 'speedy' operation, but it is a unique and rarely seen feature. The cylinder pin latch is a nod right of the original #5, to help keep the pin in place with heavy recoiling loads.

It is an awesome revolver.

I'll be honest I think it was luck. Ussually I'm in the 10's, well I was back then. I still ride, just no track time anymore. She's far from stock, and it was on a slick. The problem with CBRs is the clutch engagement. You either let it out above 6000 rpm and try to keep the nose down or you slip it out below 4000 and feather the crap out of it. Thats my experiaance anyways. I'll try to get a pic up later.
